Thanks to the generous support of Dartmouth College Library and the Dartmouth Book Arts Program, New Hampshire is the next stop on the national tour of The Guild of Book Workers member exhibition, Marking Time.

Please join us for the opening reception when you will have the opportunity to see an additional special exhibition in the Baker Library Main Hall– The Book Unbound & The Book Arts at Dartmouth (this exhibition runs until November 29, 2010).  Tours of the Conservation Lab and the Book Arts Workshop will also be offered.  This event is free and open to the public.  For directions see http://www.dartmouth.edu/~maps/

The Guild of Book Workers organizes national exhibitions of member work every three years.  Marking Time opened at the Minnesota Center for Book Arts in May of 2009 and concludes it’s tour at Dartmouth College this winter.  For more information about the exhibition please see guildofbookworkers.org

We apologize for the delay in publishing more information about the upcoming New England Chapter exhibition.  The most desired news seems to be the exact due date for entries… February 1, 2011.  Complete entry details are nearly ready and will be posted on the chapter blog as soon as possible.  Thank you for your patience… please get to work on those bindings!
