Logo Design

As you hopefully all know, the annual GBW conference will be in Boston in October 2011.  There will be many opportunities to get involved, but your creative efforts are first to be called upon.  The planning committee has asked us to post the folowing call for entries:

Call for Entries

The Planning Committee for the 30th Standards of Excellence in Bookbinding announces a call for entries for a logo design to represent the October 2011 Standards meeting in Boston.  The logo will be used on promotional materials, the website, and on giveaways at the meeting.

Preference will be shown towards entries with Boston or New England related themes.

Designs should be submitted as print ready art.  The preferred format is Adobe Illustrator with an .eps or .ai file extension.  If this does not exist, a high res (300-600 dpi) .jpg, or .pdf file format is acceptable.  Other preferred program formats include PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator, Freehand, Corel Draw, or Quark Express.

This call is open to all members in good standing of the Guild of Book Workers.

Multiple entries accepted.
