Brief description: Over twenty finely bound books from the Burns Library’s rare book collection are on display in the Irish Room and the O’Brien Fine Print Room from September 3rd through October 31st, 2012 as part of the exhibition, Fine Specimens of the Bibliopegistic Art: Bookbindings from the Burns Library Collections.
In a complementary event, the Burns Library conservator Barbara Adams Hebard will give a presentation about bookbinding design and structure.
